Anyone having a garage/yard/tag/rummage/estate/block or moving sale may place an ad on our site.
Garage sale enthusiasts can search our web site for sales in their area.
For your convenience, we offer a few different ways to find local sales.
You may search by zip code, by city name or by state.
How much does it cost?
Searching for sales is always FREE.
You may search for sales by zip code, city or state all you want at no charge.
You may even sign up to receive free notices in your e-mail for sales in your area.
You may advertise your sale with a full-color Deluxe Ad or a black and white Standard Ad for a small fee.

Deluxe Ads: $4.50
Standard Ads: FREE!
Deluxe Ads appear before Standard Ads in search results and give you much more room to describe your sale.
Note than any applicable fees are charged when you publish your ad; you may create your ad for free.
You can always decide if you want to publish it later.
No one else will see your ad until you publish it.
You are only charged once when you publish your ad.
You are not charged by how long your ad runs so place your ad early!
How long will my ad run?
Your ad runs from the time you publish it until the last day of your sale.
You may publish your ad up to 8 weeks in advance of your sale, so your ad may run for as long as 8 weeks at one low price!

How do I advertise my sale?
Just click on the Advertise link (located on the left side of the screen) and follow the on-screen instructions.
Placing your ad is a two-step process.
- Start by creating your ad. You'll have the opportunity to review it and make changes.
- When you are satisfied with your ad, then you must publish it. Until you publish your ad, no one else can see it.
Your ad will be on-line in minutes.
You will need to sign-up before you can place an ad.
If you have already signed up, then you will just need to log in.

How do I find sales?
The QuickFinder always appears on the left side of the screen.
Enter a 5-digit zip code then click Go!
We'll list all the sales near the area you searched.
If you want to search by city, county or state, you can use the Sale Finder.
In what parts of the country can I expect to find sales?
GarageSalePlanet.com covers all 50 United States, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
What personal information do you need from me?
When you sign up, we only require your e-mail address and a password of your choosing.
You may supply us with your name, a nick-name and your address if you wish.
When you place an ad, we'll ask for the street address of your sale.
We do not collect credit card information from you.
If you make a purchase, our on-line payment processing service may collect credit card and other personal information from you.
Why do I have to login with my e-mail address?
We need a way to uniquely identify everyone who uses our service.
E-mail addresses serve this purpose quite nicely.
