In a recent poll, garage sale enthusiasts voted Saturday as the #1 garage sale day of the week.
More than half of the people polled chose Saturday as their favorite day to shop.
Roughly 1 in 6 said Friday was their favorite day.
In the midwestern states, Thursday was the third most popular response, but Sunday was third overall.
A tip for first-time garage sale organizers:
Be certain to hold your sale on Saturday to attract the most shoppers.
If possible, consider scheduling your sale for Friday, Sunday or Thursday as well.
